Does a poem to say keep the doctor away?

Writing poems and reading poems. Will it with withdraw our problems? I’m not so sure if it solves them, but it helps. Perhaps the fact I have written them myself has helped me more than others who’ve only read them. So, my reader, why not give it a go? I’m certainly satisfied by their impact. They’ve helped manage the mental anxiety I felt from the social issues ongoing around me.

After writing your poem, you should feel proud of efforts. I enjoy re-reading my own poems a lot. Read them out loud with passion! As the menu page suggests, I believe disability arts is a force for disabled people. So, if you write a poem, you may well grant yourself and others with a new source of power. Disabled people aren’t as socially interactive as they could be.

Of course, disability arts isn’t the only power that people need grow right now. Are you disabled but frustrated about something else? Feel free to switch your topic. Perhaps unfair racist actions are bothering you more than anything. I know poems have been rightfully written about these topics in the past as well.

Other options are available

However, if poetry is something that seems as if it won’t work for you, don’t worry. There are many more ways to send a message across. Simply being bold and honest online about the flaws you despise can conjure you favours too. Still, stay as positive as possible. Doing so when working with others will lead to more help and improved lives.

This post is a short one. Recently, I’ve been working on other elements as well as this poem and my website. The truth is that the first draft of fiction I’m writing with disabled characters is nearing completion. Plenty more work needs to be done but a book’s first draft is the main aid for authors.

However, there’s something else I’ve attached to download or look at alone if you wish today. What’s below is entitled “The Festival of Equality” which I wrote recently. What it’s about now is more of a fantasy world, but who knows? Hopefully, I’ll have time to attend and enjoy something similar to this within my life.

If you’d like to listen my poetry, you can head to my channel on YouTube for all readings of the arts I’ve written.

 The Festival of Equality

As it blooms it will boom words that only summon truth

As it blooms it will bounce the crowds that sense pride

As it blooms it will lead and fairly feed us with care

As it blooms it will blast away rats beyond sight

Performance to work and open artists can sing

Human rights to win smoothly, human rights we will bring

No acts of injustice lead to fights in a ring

Human rights to win smoothly, human rights we will bring

Those that speak from the stalls ensure supplies are accessible

Those that speak from the stalls offer memories to save

Those that speak from the stalls spread humour with ability

Those that speak from the stalls are all trusted, so sane

Perfomance to work and open artists can sing

Human rights to win smoothly, human rights we will bring

No acts of injustice lead to fights in a ring

Human rights to win smoothly, human rights we will bring

New friendships that form give platforms to pounce upon

New friendships that form sell special tastes from our lives

New friendships that form can be sublime and respectable

New friendships that form lead to lasting relations in time

Performance to work and open artists can sing

Human rights to win smoothly, human rights we will bring

No acts of injustice lead to fights in a ring

Human rights to win smoothly, human rights we will bring

All this trust is such dust

It can obscurely infect eyes

No entity is immaculate

Although backed shadows summon thrives
